Our Story
More Than 40 Years of Caring for Plant City's Children
Golden Rule Child Care Center was founded in 1981 with a simple but powerful belief: every child deserves to be treated with kindness, respect, and genuine care. What began as a small neighborhood center has grown into one of Plant City's most trusted child care institutions.
Over the decades, we've had the privilege of watching thousands of children take their first steps, speak their first words, and head off to kindergarten with confidence. Many of the families we serve today are second-generation — parents who were once children in our care.
Through every change in our community, one thing has remained constant: our commitment to the Golden Rule. We treat every child, every family, and every team member the way we'd want to be treated ourselves.
Golden Rule Child Care Center opens its doors to Plant City families.

Our Team
Experienced, Caring Educators
Our staff are the heart of Golden Rule. Many of our educators have been with us for ten, fifteen, even twenty or more years — bringing deep experience, genuine warmth, and a true passion for early childhood development. All team members are background-checked, CPR and first aid certified, and participate in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices in child care.
